Frequently Asked Questions
DNS/Nameserver related questions

1. What are your nameservers?

Primary Server Netaddress..: 216.55.105.20

Secondary Name Server(s)

2. How can I add domains on the Gold Vision nameservers?
The "Gold Vision AutoDNS" tool, which is located in the "Services" section of your web control panel, gives you instant access to the Gold Vision nameservers. This tool allows you to setup and delete your domains directly on the Gold Vision DNS. "Gold Vision AutoDNS" is not available on servers with dedicated nameservers.

3. Can I get my own nameservers?
Fully-controllable DNS Servers are available on all HERA VS 500 and MicroRack Advanced and Professional systems. The HERA VS and MicroRack DNS servers are NOT just name server "aliases" but are your own completely dedicated and fully-functional set of primary and secondary DNS servers.
Having your own DNS Servers gives you the ability to register and provide name service for domains using your own name servers (ns1.yourdomain.com / ns2.yourdomain.com).
With your HERA VS or MicroRack DNS System you have complete control over your own DNS, including the ability to carry out immediate updates to your own zone files, the freedom to add sub-domains and the ability to repoint your domains in an instant with only a few simple commands. The HERA VS or MicroRack DNS Servers not only support .com, .net and .org names but most other worldwide domains such as .info, .biz, .au, .uk, .nz, .de, .br, .es, .fr, etc.

4. How do I register my new HERA VS or MicroRack nameservers?
To use your new nameservers you have to "register" them with your domain registry first.
Most registries have a web interface to create nameserver hosts based on a domain.
If they don't have a webinterface for creating nameserver hosts, you have to send a request to their support department.
