Frequently Asked Questions
E-Mail related

1. What are my incoming and outgoing mail servers?
Just use your domain name.

2. I can only receive mail but can't send mail / My internet service provider is blocking port 25 (SMTP)
Some internet providers have recently started blocking port 25, the port used for outgoing mail (SMTP).
Please try to use port 587 instead of port 25. Port 587 is the "submission" port, suggested by AOL, Earthlink and many other providers. To use this option you should change the port for outgoing mail to 587 in your mail programs advanced settings.
Please make sure that port 587 is not being blocked by your firewall or router.

3. I can't find a specifc feature in the preinstalled WebMail or MList mailing list program.
Gold Vision WebMail and MList tools are basic, lightweight mail tools. The included features can not be changed. Gold Vision does not offer custom installations, but more advanced (and complicated) webmail and mailing list tools, free and commercial, can be found at script distribution sites like http://php.resourceindex.com/ or http://cgi.resourceindex.com/.
